The MVP Photon is the first 21.5 cm distance driver in the MVP line. This disc is described as a longer Tesla, and will exhibit some max distance generating high-speed turn for power throwers. The Photon is naturally wind resistant for average players and works well for sidearm throws. This is a thin disc with a sleek, flat profile.

    Plasma Misprint Details

MVP Plasma Misprint plastic is the same great blend as regular Plasma, but can include hot stamp imperfections, or superficial blemishes. Plasma Misprint is a premium plastic blend that combines performance with a stunning metallic sheen. Plasma plastic has slightly better grip than Neutron plastic and stands somewhere between neutron and neutron soft in terms of softness and flexibility. Plasma plastic allows MVP to add different amounts of dome to MVP golf discs.

The photon is an excellent disc. I've owned it in both the Fission plastic and Plasma. It is a steady workhorse of a driver with a straight flight and a solid left finish for RHBH throwers. In a headwind is where the Photon excels for me. I don't have a fast arm speed. Thrown flat in a headwind, the Photon will have a little bit of right turn and finish slightly left, it seems to fly for days in a headwind with an increased glide.

I would recommend this disc for intermediate players beginning to experiment with flex shots and for headwind shots.

This disc is stable/overstable for sure, but makes an incredible side arm disc.  I can side arm this and get a nice S-Flight out of it.  Also, if you want to channel your inner Matt Dollar, this disc makes a great disc for thumbers.  Overall, if you're looking for an overstable side arm disc, this one fits the bill.  Highly recommend it for beginner to intermediate.
