The F2 is an absolute gem in the prodigy fairway line up. If you like throwing discs in that seven speed with a lot of comfortable control the F2 is perfect for you. It holds up to some torque and will fly extremely straight if you are able to get it up to speed. The F2 has enough low speed stability to fight its way out of most flights. When thrown on hyzer the F2 loves to hold it with a neutral stability and carry a great amount on the angle. If you release it flat you can get a slight turn but very little before it fights out with a very straight finish. On anhyzer you sometimes can overpower it and get a nice panning flight but when thrown with touch you get a get S-flight for some great distance out of a 7 speed. I think the F2 is not the most workable fairway in the prodigy lineup but it is definitely one of the more workhorse and dependable fairways that you can always trust to do what you want. People that have massive arms may find the F2 to be an absolute lazer beam with little to no drift off the line and people with slower arms will get a bit more finish but still not enough to say this disc is overstable.

Nice, slightly overstable fairway driver. This is my forehand workhorse, where a slight hyzer will give me a straight flight with dependable fade. You can work angles on the backhand for shots where a dead straight fairway (e.g. FD) doesn't have enough shaping profile. It is slowly beating in, which brings it closer to the dead straight profile. A nice, dependable disc.

I bought this looking for an alternative for an eagle since I couldn't find them anywhere. I bought 3 all in 400. I typically want to throw my fairways between 350-400, but all 3 were extremely under stable for me. To get any distance with them I have to throw them on pretty steep hyzers or as rollers. Quickly removed from my bag when I was able to find eagles again

F2s, and I cannot stress this enough, are among the best discs out there, regardless of manufacturer. I bag a couple in 400 and a couple in 750.

The 400 plastic discs fly super straight with a consistent left finish. They do tend to beat in fairly quickly and begin to fly more US. They make great hyzer flip discs after a while.

The 750 discs can handle quite a bit more power then the 400. They have a bit of high speed turn and a more aggressive finish. I've had mine for quite a while and it's still pretty stable. Not headwind stable, but stable.

For both discs expect for beginners and advanced folks to like them. Beginners will find that they get decent distance with standstill shots and advanced players will love the straight flight and sneaky distance.

The F2 is my most thrown fairway driver for shots that need to go straight and finish slightly to the left. I'd compare it to a shallower Teebird in terms of feel.

ok let me start off by saying this is one of my most used discs in my bag. but it should be more overstable than it is. i hyzer flip mine really nicely and is perfect for tunnel shots and long straight shots with little turn and fade. according to the flight numbers this should be like and innova eagle, but it definitely is not. my eagle is definitely alot more overstable than the f2. either way it is a great disc that i will always keep in my bag

When I switched over to prodigy this filled my Thunderbird spot really well. Great fairway driver that I can power up on and it will hold any line I throw it on be it hyzer, flat or anhyzer. Great for those that need a controlled fairway shot that doesn't fade too hard.

I use this disc for huge open field drives. Throw it hard and flat and this disc goes further than it has any business. Throw it soft and with a little anny and you can simulate a long range harp for pin point up shots.

F, the F's, F is for FOREVER!! Ha! I love the F series Prodigy line up. F2 is my current favorite and also my go to off the tee, unless I am throwing a ridiculously long hole 800+ and it's pretty open-- this is what I am grabbing. Hyzer flip, Hyzer, Anny, you name it-- this 400 F2 is my baby!! What I love the most about this disc is it's true to the line you throw it on. yes, they are stable but throw it flat and watch it BOOM off the tee.

Side bar-- perfect long distance thumber/hammer disc! They turn so slow and just cut through the air forever usually landing with a slight skip or "check" right around your landing area.

Will never go without the F2 in the bag, ever.

The F2 is a solid disc. It feels very comfortable in the hand, the rim feels a little fat compared to other similar control drivers. However it fits well in the hand.

The stability of this disc is stable, and pretty reliable. I have found the it flies straighter than implied by the flight path as provided. On average I am able to throw the disc about 300 feet. Hyzer flips are the quite easy to do, it'll start off on a slight hyzer line then pop out of it and fly straight completing its natural flight path. Anhyzer lines are doable with this disc. The anhyzer lines that the F2 will hold are quite favorable. They are slight and slowly going to the right.

The shape-ability of this disc is fairly easy to do, there are a lot better discs for shaping.

Overall this disc is a solid disc. Its fun to throw and play with. The F2 is quite reliable and easy to throw. I have been able to get favorable distance with the F2. It flies very straight with a decent fade off to the left (RHBH) at the end. Its a good disc!

I'm not too sure about this disc yet. I got it around the same time I got an MVP Volt, and so far the Volt has won the battle. Initially I was expecting this to be more OS and the Volt to be more straight-stable, but honestly there's so much overlap between the two I felt the need to only bag one, and so far the Volt has retained that slot. The F2 feels great in the hand and looks good, and maybe with more field work it will win out at some point, but right now I just don't see that happening. All of that being said, for any Prodigy fans I could definitely see this disc getting some major use. If you prefer Prodigy discs/plastic, I'd give it a good look, otherwise there are other discs that can do what this does (and better, IMO).

In my opinion this is another mediocre entry from Prodigy. I've got a 172g F2 in the 400s plastic. At this point do I even need to mention how this plastic feels (if I do, it feels great)?

Let me explain why I say mediocre... First off Prodigy prides itself on it's "easy release" technology. Basically they have slightly rounded the underside of the rim. For me this is most effective on their mid ranges and putters, something with a blunt rim. The drivers and in this the fairway drivers take a hit because the flashing (tiny lip of plastic that gets smooshed out when the plastic is molded) is now moved to the outside of the lip instead directly underneath it. Kind of hard to explain until you hold one... then you'll know what I mean.

The biggest problem with this is that it has caused a bit of grip lock on my backhand (I throw RHBH), and an inconsistent release point for my forehand. I'm sure that with time this flashing will wear down but until then. Secondly the flight of this disc again for me is just mediocre. It's biggest strength is that it is consistent. No matter the wind condition or the power you put on this disc it will go straight then fade semi aggressively at the end of it's path. For it not being the "overstable" disc of the bunch, it has a healthy amount of fade. The reason why it's just mediocre is because I feel it lacks a lot of glide. In order to get any real distance past 250' or so is to manhandle it and put a lot of pepper on it. Otherwise this disc will go out then quickly start it's descent. I've had some decent shots by putting it on a slight anhyzer line, but even then as soon as it comes out of it's anhyzer angle, it starts to dive.

I will say that if you need a skip shot, this type of disc can be very useful. I'm not sure I could full heartedly recommend this disc to anyone who has a decent "overstable" fairway in their bag. I currently have a Champ Banshee and Elite Z Pred that I don't think will be unseated by this disc, but I will keep it as a an alright backup for either of the two.
