The P2 is a straight flying, but slightly overstable putter made by Discmania. This disc is stable enough that it can handle headwind throws and fairly long approach shots. This putter was designed specifically for pro players, but can be useful for disc golfers of all skill levels. This was the first disc that Discmania brought back when they took over their own production.

The G Line P2 was the putter that revolutionized my putting game. This disc was given to me by a friend and something just clicked, like the disc just matched my putting style for some reason, I can't explain it. This disc is flat if not slightly concaved and beadless, very straight flyer with a slight fade. I honestly don't know where my game would be if my friend had chosen not to give me this disc. I wouldn't tell a new player to get any certain putter right away, I think putters really go off of feel and how they fit in your hand regardless of flight numbers. I'd recommend going to a disc shop and holding different putters and see what you're comfortable with. Having said that, I love the P2 and would reccomend to a beginner.

This is my putter for a few reasons, top of that list is the g line plastic (g star). I think this is the most under rated plastic for a putter its soft, grippy, and durable perfect for every season and long lasting. I think the reason i stopped looking for other putters is because not many good putters come in this plastic. i use my putter about 50% of my throws on the coarse so every other "soft" plastic gets dogged quick and i hate carrying lots of discs especially when i can carry 1 disc to do the heavy lifting. I don't think this plastic is great for higher speed discs though.

This disc is a bit tall but it does fit good in your hand. It is VERY consistent in flight and in production. I bought 2 in g line about 2 years ago, loved them so bought 3 more a year later for practice. the 3 i bought where just like the other 2. I think that alone is worth a standing ovation because i have noticed that other company's are not as consistent with the same molds run by run and year to year.

So if you are into soft, grippy putters that hold up very well, have no bead and need a putter that can make GREAT lines for driving and have GREAT  short range magic. This is about the best choice you could make.
