The P2 is a straight flying, but slightly overstable putter made by Discmania. This disc is stable enough that it can handle headwind throws and fairly long approach shots. This putter was designed specifically for pro players, but can be useful for disc golfers of all skill levels. This was the first disc that Discmania brought back when they took over their own production.

The equivalent of Innova Star plastic. Discmania describes this plastic blend, "Excellent grip with great durability. This plastic ages well, which means your disc doesn’t have a drastic change in its flight behavior after a couple of collisions with trees."

This disc was great for putting when it was my main putter, but I've actually enjoyed it some as an approach disc because it has a very predictable flight.

Simply put, this is the best throwing putter ever made.  Seems to keep its speed in a straight line for an impossibly long time, given its speed, before reliably hooking up and finishing left (RHBH).

A good S-line P2 is a thing of beauty. The P2 feels very similar to an aviar but tweaked in a way that definitely jives with me for throwing. The P2 is beadless offering a nice round rim that is maybe slightly on the deeper side. The grip backhand and forehand is quite comfortable for my very average sized hands. My test subject is an S-line P2 at 172g.

Out of the box the S-line P2 is very stable and handles power very well off the tee. It offers great control and can be placed on many different angles with relative ease. It has freakishly good glide, placing this disc on a flat line just a little nose up will send this disc on a slow UFO like flight drifting slowly to the fade side as your spin runs out. With as much stability as this mold offers I could still put it up an a very clean putter turn over and with that stability it is a breeze to flick if you have some touch.  As far as short range game goes the P2 is great at distance control offering a little more stability than the Innova Aviar which tends to get a little testy between the 100ft and 150ft range if you aren't dialed in. Putting with premium blends like S-line is a bit of a wash, It might work on a breezier day and it is serviceable for headwinds but ultimately I'd favor P or D line for putting putters.

As far as wind fighting goes the P2 gets a pretty good rating, being a relatively neutral/stable disc it will do alright in just about any relatively mild scenario but you may need something a bit more beefy than this if you start getting stronger winds.

As far as beginners go the P2 will work, assuming it beats in fast its stability won't bother you for long although I strongly recommend the Innova Aviar P&A over this in Star plastic for lower power throwers as it has a similar feel with a little less stability.

I get why Pro's bag these the P2 is probably hands down one of the best feeling beadless putters on the market, it offers plenty of stability and remarkably good glide and with that versatility and predictable flight the P2 is a front runner of the throwing putter segment. If I had to put one negative comment on the S-line P2 it is that it's availability is a bit more scarce as I had to look for a year almost before I could really find one. Despite that, the P2 is truly worthy of a 5/5 star rating and is something all putter addicts should really be checking out.

I love this disc. I have 5 in my bag, 3 p-line 2 putting and 1 throwing, 1 c line, 1 s line. The p line is a great putting plastic, and beats in to a straight throwing putter. The s line p2 is the best putter on the market, I will use it to putt if its a windy day. The c line is a just a place holder in the bag for the time being. The c line is a little deeper than the s and p lines, I have a hard time releasing it. Overall I would recommend this putter to any one for driving up shots and putting. Discmania has truly found a gem in this disc.

Love this disc.  I bag 1 S-line P2, and 2 D-line.  This disc taught me how to drive with putters.  I was used to the flat top of my mid ranges, and getting comfortable with a power grip took a minute.  It'll ride the line you put it on and park.  I'm comfortable using this disc for anything rhbh up to ~200 feet, and use D-line as my putter.

The P2 is a solid overstable putter for driving and upshots. I utilized it for a few months because of its popularity, but I just never felt it click for me as far as a solid disc in my hand. I realized that what I didn't like about this disc was the depth of the rim, it was just a lot deeper than I liked and I couldn't get the consistent feel I wanted, so for that reason I switched to a Jokeri because the rim felt better. If you like deep rimmed discs, this is one of the best choices you can make for a driving putter, but just know it is not for everybody because of that feel

The best upshot putter on the market is the S-Line P2. They are so reliable! I like throwing mine from 250 and in. I know other people will throw there's even further if there's an open hyzer line. The s-line P2 can start out a little bit slippery, so I don't usually recommend them for putting, but they can't be beat as far as upshots go. Especially as you break them in and they get a little more grip to them.

This disc is hands down my favorite driving/approach putter.  It can handle a little speed without turning over. Definitely a must bag

Acquired a 175g S-Line P2.  I am very pleasantly surprised, amazed even, at the P2.  First, the disc is similar to Aviars (P&A, BB Driver, McPro, Nova), but feels surprisingly better in my hand than the others. Maybe that's just psychological.  The P2 is beadless, which is another plus in my book..

I took the P2 to the range and threw it into headwinds, tailwinds and crosswinds, and the P2 was very consistent in all conditions:  on a straight throw it went very straight, not turning over on me, then landed with a little bit (but not a lot) of fade.  Hyzer throws were very controllable and accurate, as well.

But the best feature, which surprised me the most, was the glide!  The P2 really got good distance for me, as much as nearly 250 ft. (rangefinder measured) in some cases.  After the range work, I took the P2 to a short but technical/wooded course.  The P2 performed almost too well... it overshot several baskets in the 175-200 ft. range.

Edited to add:  After working with the S-Line P2, I'm finding that it excels in powered-down shots.  Some discs will stall out or fade hard if powered down, but the P2 powers down well for accurate shots at the basket.

The S-Line P2 is overstable out of the box. It isn't unthrowably overstable, but it has one of the most trustworthy fades of any putter I have ever thrown. The S-Line P2 is my go to upshot disc, and is replaced by the more stable C-P2 when conditions get worse.

This is a very overstable putter. The rim is very deep, which takes some practice to find the proper release.  As advertised, it will turn left after you get the hang of the release point.  I see this in a lot of pros' bags but I just don't find it consistent enough.  Personally, I have replaced this disc, in the overstable short approach slot, with a DGA Breaker.  I also like the Kastaplast Berg for a similar flight.
