The P2 is a straight flying, but slightly overstable putter made by Discmania. This disc is stable enough that it can handle headwind throws and fairly long approach shots. This putter was designed specifically for pro players, but can be useful for disc golfers of all skill levels. This was the first disc that Discmania brought back when they took over their own production.

Bought two of these and have used them ever sense. Use these for short to medium putts. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a new putter.

It's a shame that Discmania won't be making the X-line P2 anymore. I putt with P2s year-round, but switch to my X-lines in the late fall and winter. These are a little more shallow than the D or P-lines with a flat or slight puddle top. Brand new, they don't have the same glide as the other plastics, but with some putting practice it starts to show more glide. The grip is great without the disc having too much give. In the cold it feels about identical to how D-line normally feels. I don't like throwing these, especially now that they're OOP, but they are very durable. My first one has been used for putting for 2 seasons and is still in good putting condition.

After trying nearly every putter ever on the market for the last 35 years I'm convinced the P2 is the absolute best putter for circle one and circle two putts.  My default putting style is a wrist style spin putt with a slight fade in. Use max weight, 175G. I only putt with the P2 and rarely use it for much else. I have too many other specialty discs for approaches, driving & utility shots. My favorite P2 plastic for putting is X Line. Anything from 40 ft. in I generally will make unless faced with a weird stance or obstructions in the way.

For me, P-line and D-line P2's are too slippery/slick.  Before each putt, I found myself licking or breathing on my thumb to get that extra touch of "tackiness" to get that brand new feeling back.  The X-Line has been keeping that nasty dirt thumb outta my mouth and gets me the extra tackiness I was looking for.  Personally, they are too tacky when brand new, but after a few missed putts and ground contact, they break in to a perfect feel.  I don't use them for driving, as they are a touch under stable for my taste, but that's what the C and S lines are for.  Its worth mentioning that I find the older X-line runs (not embossed) to have a stiffer flight plate and all around firmer feel.  I actually prefer my old runs to the new but am slowly getting used to the feeling of the new run since the older ones are hard to come by.
