    GStar Details

GStar is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Innova. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a GStar disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

    BEST ROLLER EVER.

In Gstar with a forehand throw this disc consistently digs towards the ground and rolls straight for miles until finally finishing.  I have not found a better roller than this disc.  It is only good for rolling.  Must get in Gstar.  Other plastics change the disc and it can no longer be rolled properly.

This disc was simply not for me.

It never felt comfortable in my hands and I never got the disc on a flight that I was proud of. It is a higher speed disc but for a beginner like myself, the adjustment was too grand.

This is a disc for people with huge arm speed. I didnt realize this when I bought it. I have a decent speed but i cannot get anything good out of this disc.

I hear great things about this and have seen people work wonders with it... but for those of us with slower arm speeds that want a turn over disc or roller... you should look elsewhere.

I bought a 170g Vulcan in GStar plastic from Infinite Discs.  The Infinite Discs service was outstanding, as they resolved an issue with my order in an excellent manner, so kudos to Infinite Discs!

The Vulcan is a really good disc, with some turn and a healthy fade.  I'm finding that the Vulcan flies very well for me on uphill shots (as understable discs generally do), but it also flies well in any open space.  It's a real go-to disc, even for my "noodle arms";  I'm getting length out of the Vulcan that I was only getting from Blizzard and StarLite discs in the speed-12 and speed-13 categories.

Fair warnings:  The Vulcan will have a strong fade on downhill shots if it catches some air (but it flies downrange as far as my Bosses before making that hard fade).  It also can get kicked around in a headwind a bit.

If you like the Mamba, IMHO you'll like the Vulcan, which acts similarly but flies farther.  If you like understable discs in general, then you might want to forge a new relationship with the Vulcan (pun fully intended).

Edited to add:  got a 167g Factory Second Star Vulcan and it's not quite what the GStar Vulcan is.  I would recommend getting the Vulcan in GStar plastic.
