The Shield is the overstable Westside putter that was used as part of the 2014 Trilogy Challenge. This putt & approach disc is more stable than the Swan and a straighter flyer than the Westside Harp. This is a very tall disc at 2.5cm tall, and is relatively flat. Like all Westside putters, this disc will be available in the BT plastic blends.

The Shield was the the first disc I picked up and went "oh wow." My roommate had one in BT Soft plastic when I first started playing, and when I tried it compared to my starter pack aviar, I immediately wanted one. Once I started using it, my putting seemed to improve as well. When thrown this disc will go dead straight 90% of the flight and just barely fade at the end, it has enough overstability to flex out of anyhzer throws, and holds a hyzer line well.

This is a great disc. I was able to pick up a used one from my local store with the sole intention of just using it as a driving putter. It's been great for that role so far and it can even handle some approach flicks. Good disc and the only trilogy mold I carry.

Started putting with the Shield back when I threw anhyzer putts and loved it. When I switched to a hyzer putt I found it too stable and switched to a Swan.

I kept the Shield in my bag as a throwing putter and found a whole new reason to love this putter. It's now my go-to disc for most shots 220 feet and in. With enough spin and the right release angle it'll hold nice anny or hyzer shapes, or fly dead straight with a very mild fade if you want.

I got the Shield as part of the trilogy challenge. This thing flies pretty straight with a nice little fade at the end. I am a Wizard fan primarily for putters, but the shield is a very close second. I love the feel and flight of this disc. When I throw it, it goes where I anticipate. Would highly recommend to anyone.
