If you want a Zone with more distance and more ground flair, then this midrange is for you. This thing is the definition of BEEF and I will angrily write to Discraft until I leave this mortal coil for taking it out of mailine production! But, as long as Ledgestone exists and Infinite keeps doing custom runs, you should have no trouble getting your hands on this.

Now, the downside: IT. IS. BEEF. If you think this is something that you can beat up to be a straight flying midrange and you do not have a ESP Flex or Big Z, FORGET IT. I have had the same 2020 Presnell Z Swirl in my bag for 2 years and I normally throw drives around 400-415' on golf lines. I STILL struggle to get this disc above 300', even on force-over flex lines. It is a SICK disc, but use with caution.

I freakin love this disc!  Mine is in the new Z Swirl plastic so its crazy overstable.  I play in a real windy area in California and this is the only mid in my bag that doesn't flip over in a headwind.   I can trust 100% that it will always fade back.   Very reliable.   Pretty true to its flight numbers

The Elite Z Drone is awesome. Out of the box it will offer an extremely overstable flight. When comparing the Drone to other super overstable discs on the market, the Drone offers a lot more glide. While it will rarely offer any turn whatsoever, it will hold its line and stay in the air a lot longer than, say a Justice or Gator. To me the new 400g M1 is a lot like a Drone. If you enjoyed the new version of the M1, then a Drone might be a great choice.

The Drone is a superior disc in headwind conditions. It is also predictable in crosswind conditions, making this overall a fantastic disc on more wide open course that is going to have a lot more wind.

I like the Drone a lot, but I don't think it could replace a Gator for me. While the extra glide can be useful in many different situations, the Gator just gets the job done for me. I like the Drone as more of an Airshot disc, or to be used on really highly elevated courses. If you're looking for a very dependable overstable flyer, then look no further.

I'm not a fan. This disc is too overstable, starting its fade too soon after release even when thrown flat or anny. While it could shape some tight lines that other discs would struggle with, Mine is going into storage because I don't need that shot enough to be worth it.
