I never found my ESP FLX Drone to be as overstable as the 2.6 claim. On a forehand, it would just go dead straight for a while and start fading right before it would hit the ground. It never really went farther than I could throw another disc I had more control with. If it was a shorter shot, I would reach for a Zone. For a midrange shot, I would either reach for a Wasp or Buzzz OS. Not a horrible disc, but it just didn't do anything that another disc couldn't do better.

Disclaimer, this is for an FLX drone. The FLX plastic is very soft and flexible, as such, my drone is not a super overstable disc. I'm not a huge fan of FLX plastic as I prefer my plastic to be stiffer. I have a Big Z Buzzz OS that is slightly more overstable than the FLX drone. I generally like the discraft Z plastics and think I may like a Drone in another plastic but I just didn't think this was the meathook as described in FLX plastic.

Have since tried the drone in Titanium plastic. It is more overstable than the FLX, but I still like the Buzzz OS better. To me, the drone is a good disc, but not great.
