174 gram Atom Electron plastic. Found this with no name or number on it. It feels comfortable and putts nice and straight. I haven't thrown it but like it as a putter.

The Atom is a great putter, I have one in proton and electron plastic. the proton putter goes dead straight, with just a little bit of fade at the end, its great for shot shaping in the woods and for approach shots. The electron putter I use for putting and has become very beat in. I enjoy the shallower rim compared to some other putters and it feels like it comes out of my hand very smoothly. When thrown the electron putter is under stable and the numbers are probably closer to 3/3/-2/1. It easily flips up flat and finishes with very little fade making it great for hitting gaps and straight shots in the woods

straightest putter out there! It also has a great amount of glide. I use this for every single put within 50ft. Definetely recommend for all putts and even short drives that need to go straight with a tad of fade at the end.

I have 3 of these in electron plastic. I bought them for off the tee throwing putters. While new they are great. Nice and straight. Maybe a tiny bit drift right and left. But one tree hit and the plastic warped badly and now it will turn fairly hard and not come back. I may have to try it in another blend. I like Trilogy Base plastic much more. Doesn't warp.

I love this disc for long approach shots. I dont use it much for actual putting as I still like the wizard more for touch shots. However, for longer approaches 150-200ft this thing is like a laser, simple point and shoot for straight level shot at the basket every time. I didnt think anything would replace my plutonium for thay shot but after just round I was sold on the atom. Great disc!

I reviewed this over three years ago and it is still my favorite disc. I bag three in total- two electron and one neutron. I cycle the electron putters, putting a fresh stable one in the bag about once a year as my main putter. As these beat in they become less stable making it excellent for those nice soft turnover lines and approaches. the beat in less stable one is also great for those long floaty putts outside the circle. The Neutron Atom is money for drives off the tee and long approach shots. It is straight with minimal fade and sticks where it lands. It's low profile and lack of bead fits great in the hand. If there is ever a question of what I should throw, the answer is the Atom. Absolutely my favorite disc.

This is the disc that helped me fall in love with disc golf. First I used it to putt, it simply felt the best in my hands of all the putters at the local shop. Soon I was bettering my form by playing rounds using only an electron atom for putting and firm electron for everything else. It is still my favorite overall disc, just so responsive and neutrally stable. It helps me create any flight angle I want.

Currently, I use medium electron for putting, firm electron for long putts and approaches, neutron for drives

My absolute favorite putter - I like that it is a shallower profile, that it has a fairly flat top, and that it goes where you want to throw it. It was such a great disc in the MVP Circuit series and I've used it as my main putter ever since. I like the Electron plastic feel, but flip back and forth between harder and softer versions. I don't really drive with this disc - I had one in Proton but found that I would flip it quite easily off the tee. Plus, my Axiom Envy is just a better driving putter.

I have used this as a putter, not a thrower. It flies great. I prefer the Ion over the Atom because I need a little stability to putt consistently, but this is a very straight flying putter. The electron plastic is the best putter plastic.

AMAZING! This is a fantastic putter! I have all levels of electron plastic (Firm, neutral, soft) which one I use on any given round is depending on temperature and conditions outside. However, my most beat in soft electron Atom never ever leaves my bag as it is my all time get out of trouble disc, anhyzers/hyzers/straight/backhand/forehand/roller this disc can do anything. Some of the available skullboy atoms are also so perty to look and that never hurts! If you haven't checked out MVP putters and the Atom in particular you really should!

This disc feels pretty good in the hand. The electron plastic is an interesting plastic, it is rather soft feeling and yet durable. When it gets dirt particles on it, it feels slippery and not as grippy as it was before the dirt exposure. This plastic is impressively durable, yet marks quite easily. The easily made marks don't damage the integrity of the disc. Its like a bruise.

Turbo putting with this disc is pretty good. It flies straight without very much fade at the end. This disc is also a good driver putter, on average I can throw it above 200 feet on a drive.

The ratings on this disc I would say remain true to what MVP say.

The Atom is a supringly neutral putter. The Ion is sligthy overstable, and the Anode is slightly understable, so the Atom does manage to fall right in the middle. It responds well to any angle, and flies great for drives and putts. The Electron is a decent baseline plastic that beats up but doesn't get too thrashed.

I got this disc at the MVP tournament in 2015.  It replaced my old putter and I love it.  It gets the most use out of any disc in my bag.  I use it for a lot of approaches as well as putts since it flys so nice.  I like the rubber edge for the durability and feel.  That is my favorite part of the MVP discs.

Anybody can benifit from an Atom.

It's a shallow, beadless, fairly quick putter. That while stable will not fade too hard on a loft putt.

In either electron or E soft they beat in fairly quickly, but the flight changes fairly slowly. I would reserve one for throwing and one for putting though as they can scuff fiarly easily.

The flight is neutural, not much turn, very little fade, but the LSS especially when fresh is surprising. Which is part of why these fly so well!

You can give it almost full power and get great distance.

Normally I throw putters in the 250-275 ft range. The Atom goes easily over 300ft for me with an easy backhand. I have a 155 Atom that I can hyzerflip nearly 350, though the light weight will often lead it to finish right.

I would eaily reccomend the Atom as both a putting and throwing putter to anyone that doesn't favor beaded discs. Great for new players, as it is forgiving though not a total form mask, and great for experianced players beucase it's very predictable and feels amazing.

**UPDATE 8/29/17: I've been using the Proton Atom for some time now.  Wow, what a disc.  Everyone can use an Atom.  Proton to me flies 4/3/0/1  --- Electron is like that when new but soon becomes 4/3/-0.5/0.5 and eventually 4/3/-1/0.2523215 haha basically it beats in to be slightly understable, but the Proton is like a Buzzz if it were a speed 4 putter - its awesome.

I think this disc is faster than listed on here.  To me (based on a firm Electron Atom 174g) it's along the lines of 3.5/3/0/0.5

It's very straight, very controllable. It is a thinner putter feel than others.  A lot of new-style putters are coming out that are a thinner profile and a little faster than traditional putters.

This is great for a putter you would like to use as an approach disc.  Also I really felt comfortable putting with this.  The Gyro-tech does seem to hold the disc straighter longer faster.  But then again, I don't have another disc to compare it to (seems similar to a pure, but again, thats just me)

I like it, the feel is great, texture, its good in cold conditions, still grippy when a lil wet.  This could be a putting putter or a thrower for the right person.

Only downfall is that when putting, if you miss your target it may float far past the putting area.  I had this problem a couple times...but then again, any miss is a bad thing.  I've also heard the disc warps and bubbles on the top flight plate when there's been some tree hits.  I haven't noticed this, but again, i don't have a SOFT atom, and I also haven't hit too many trees yet with it, so far for me its not a problem. UPDATE: Haha I totally notice this, it just took a lil while with the medium electron - it does bubble/warp a lil bit. Can be fixed by placing under some books for a couple days, but it is a downfall of this plastic - Electron feels great but isn't that durable - Proton Atoms though are indestructible and more stable so just make the choice you need :)

***Update: Still liking it.  Grip is great in the winter/snow. Great thrower.  I almost aced a hole with it. with power it'll just hang and go straight. a lil too much power or wind and it will hold a smoooooth anhyzer.

It's not a wind fighter.   Its a straight, go as it goes disc that sits with a miiiiild hyzer unless released on a hyzer, in which case it holds well.

It's like a Putter version of an Innova Mako

*^*^*^*^ Another update.  This putter has really changed my game for the better.  It is still very straight, after being worked in it does turn over a little with power, which has been fine for throwing long smooth anhyzers, It shines best with a slight hyzer release and smooth follow-through.  I was able to put it on a line, literally 1 cm from a row of trees (non intended to be THAT close) but it held straight and did not hyzer out early it just holds SO straight, its crazy.  It is better than the Pure in my opinion, very similar, but better in all aspects (again in MY opinion) GREAT disc, Atoms need to be made in more plastics and options because its a great disc.  Get one, for REALS

This is actually a pretty good Putter. It provides a good mix of turn and fade,  it is just enough to allow you to throw a turning shot into the basket, or just a straight shot with a mini fade at the end. I haven’t used this disc for any upshots or tee offs ( the plastic is not durable enough, great for putting though because its got great grip in the hand ). I like this putter.

The Atom feels awesome. It has a similar feel to an Aviar but with a shallower rim. The Electron plastic feels really good in the hand. MVP did a great job with the plastic and mold, I can see this putter becoming very popular.

The Atom I have is much more stable than advertised. I can't get it to turn unless I put a lot of power into it, and I have to be very deliberate with the anhyzer to throw it for turnover shots.

As a putting putter, the Atom didn't have enough glide for me. I used this disc during the MVP circuit, and missed about 8 putts below the top of the rim, just because I'm so used to a Discmania P2 with more glide.

It performs well in the wind, and I would definitely suggest it for spin putters.

The Atom is amazing! It has become my main putter. I love it for anything inside the circle, and for any upshots or driv es up to 200-225 feet. I love the feel of electron plastic best baseline on the market in my opinion. I can't say enough good things about this disc, I now own 3. I have 2 171g electrons for putting, and a 168g electron soft for upshots. 5 stars for sure. If you like going straight at the basket when you putt the Atom could be your new favorite disc.

I was looking to replace my old beat up Omega putter when I came acroos this putter. As soon as I picked it up I knew it was the one for me. It has a great feel in the hand  and is dead on. This was the first MVP disc I owned and has got me hooked on the MVP/ Axiom disc.

Similar to the PROXY but with less glide. This is a great understable putter for safety shots, or putts that could have risks of rolling down a hill or going to far past the basket. The slow glide and speed help you keep this disc slow, striaght, and right to the basket. This is actually my first Electron plastic disc, and I love the grippy feeling the disc has. If you are looking for an understable putter, the Atom is a great choice.

The MVP Atom in Electron plastic is Amazing. The one thing I previously didn't like about MVP was the feel of the plastics for putting, especially in the cold and wet. Electron plastic is the perfect blend for a putting putter. It is grippy, and has a really nice tecture but stiff enough for maximum control for my push putts. As a driving putter, this disc is straight with almost no fade.

After initial testing, I almost convinced myself to buy 10 more Atoms as practice putters. This disc stays so straight with your putts. With the Atom I can putt longer putts more accurately and with less effort. I played a league round using the Atom as my putthing putter, and set a personal course record.  I didn't miss a single putt with it, and ended with a score better than the open players.

After years of conditioning myself to the feel and shape of the ABC money putter the Atom just wasn't quite tall enough to convince me to switch. Perhaps when MVP comes up with a putter a little bit taller, I will have GYRO as my permanent bag putting putter.

I love my new Atom! The new electron baseline plastic feels great in wet and dry conditions., the grippy feel helps to grab onto the chains. The disc goes very straight on short putts and has a slight fade on longer putts. The atom has a shallow rim that makes it very easy to grip for full shots and drives. The plastic doesn't really hold up to hitting a lot of trees though and breaks in very fast. I intend on buying a second so I have one just for driving and another for putting.
