The A2 is the beadless cousin of the A1. This disc is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid turning over their upshots, and who need a disc that they can trust in headwinds. The A2 is still very stable, but it has a bit more glide than the A1 does, and can be expected to fly 30-40 feet further than the A1.

I will never not have one of these in my bag.

Back when I was in denial about how much money I was going to spend on a disc golf bag, I bought a BP-3 from somebody on Reddit, and it came with a P Model S and $50 Prodigy gift card.

    1. The bag sucked
    2. The P Model S is a dang good putter
    3. I used the gift card to get
      1. KJUSA Signature H2 V2
      2. KJUSA Signature M3
      3. Bone stock 350G A2

I had no idea what the A2 was all about and only got it because I had a few bucks left on the card. It turned out to be one of the best disc purchases I've ever made. At first I didn't understand the disc, it was incredibly overstable and didn't go anywhere.  As I developed my disc golf skill set I finally understood the purpose of the disc and it's been a staple in my bag since.

Distance control: doesn't go anywhere until it starts to break in.

Overstability: starts fading immediately until it starts to break in. Even after breaking in it just goes straight for longer unless you yank it, and even then it still has plenty of fade to ensure it comes back.

Placement: thrown on a steep hyzer if dogs in and sticks. Thrown on a low angle it gives a nice flare skip, but it's difficult to do since the sharp angle likes to dig into the ground and check up.

I've converted many of my friends to the truth of the A2. When I saw Prodigy had a 10 disc box of factory second A2s in 750 plastic, I jumped on it and have enough of them to last a lifetime, even losing them to the occasional water hazard and giving them to my friends.

    Get one.

Very overstable midrange similar to other offerings like a Zone, Gator or Justice. I have to call the glide a 1. This thing gets to the ground like a brick. Not a bad thing by any means but when I think of 4 glide, this disc is not it. Great for headwind approaches, sidearms, utility shots, FH rollers, etc. Nice disc I just prefer the Justice in this slot.

First, this disc is STABLE...it will come back however you throw it.  It flies nothing like any of my Roc's, but more like an over stable harp.  This is perfect for any shot that needs to turn hard or fight the wind; but don't expect great distance from this.

I had in my mind what I wanted this disc to be and it was not it, but it filled a different slot.  Think of it as an overstable putter.
