The A2 is the beadless cousin of the A1. This disc is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid turning over their upshots, and who need a disc that they can trust in headwinds. The A2 is still very stable, but it has a bit more glide than the A1 does, and can be expected to fly 30-40 feet further than the A1.

I watched a couple of rounds on Jomez where Sepo threw a beat in A2 for everything, so I was really curious about the disc.  Looking at reviews, everything seemed to compare this disc to the rest of the A series and nothing else, so I finally decided to get one and try it.

Going by flight numbers, I was thinking that this should be similar to a KC Pro roc. After throwing it a couple of rounds, I would compare it more towards a Zone.  It seemed to have a little more glide to it, but not much.  And like the zone, it is very stable no matter how much speed I put on it.  Much more stable than a roc and more stable than my hard Harp too.

If you have been looking for a Zone type disc in a stiff pro style plastic, try this out.  I am hoping to have a stable beat in A2 in a month or two to help me get around all of the oak trees down here.
